Data Processing When Accessing Our Online Services

Each time our website is accessed, our system automatically collects data and information from the computer system of the accessing computer.

The following data are collected:

  • The page from which the file was requested
  • The name of the requested file
  • The date and time of the request
  • The amount of data transferred
  • The access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.)
  • The access method (GET, POST)
  • The browser or operating system used
  • The IP address of the requesting computer

The data are stored in the log files of our system. These data are not stored together with other personal data of the user.

The temporary storage of the IP address by the system is necessary to enable the delivery of the website to the user’s computer. For this purpose, the user’s IP address must be stored for the duration of the session. The storage in log files is done to ensure the functionality of the website. Additionally, the data help us optimize the website and ensure the security of our information technology systems. The data are not evaluated for marketing purposes.

The data are deleted as soon as they are no longer necessary for the purpose of their collection. In the case of data collection for providing the website, this is the case when the respective session ends. Log files are deleted after 14 days.

The collection of data for providing the website and the storage of data in log files is essential for the operation of the website. Therefore, there is no option for the users to object.

The legal basis for the temporary storage of the data and log files is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

Use of Cookies

When individual pages are accessed, so-called temporary cookies are used to facilitate navigation. These session cookies do not contain personal data and expire at the end of the session. Techniques such as Java applets or Active-X controls that make it possible to track user access behavior are not used. Cookies are small text files that a website can store on a visitor’s computer.

You can prevent the installation of cookies by configuring your browser accordingly or by using add-ons.

Use of Analysis Tools

Our website uses the web analysis service Matomo. This is an open-source product that we host ourselves.

Matomo cookies are only set after your consent. As the operator of this website, we have a legitimate interest in the anonymized analysis of user behavior to optimize our web offering.

The information stored in the Matomo cookie about the use of this website is not passed on.

Encryption

Data Processing When Contacting Us Directly and Through Our Email Address and Contact Forms

Our website allows for electronic contact via the provided email addresses and contact forms.

In this case, the personal data transmitted with the email are stored. These data are not passed on to third parties. They are used exclusively for processing the conversation.

The processing of personal data serves solely to handle the contact request.

The data are deleted as soon as they are no longer necessary for the purpose of their collection. For personal data transmitted via email, this is the case when the respective conversation with the user ends. The conversation ends when it can be inferred from the circumstances that the matter in question has been conclusively resolved.

The legal basis for processing the data transmitted in the course of sending an email is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. If the email contact aims to conclude a contract, an additional legal basis for processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.

The user has the option to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data at any time. If the user contacts us via email, they can object to the storage of their personal data at any time. In such a case, the conversation cannot be continued.

All personal data stored in the course of contacting us will be deleted in this case.

Data Processing When Submitting Applications

AMS Advanced Medical Services GmbH (AMS) assures you of compliance with applicable data protection regulations. Personal applicant data are treated strictly confidentially within the framework of existing guidelines and applicable data protection law.

Reason for Data Collection

We need your application data to include you in our selection process for current or future job postings, to assess your suitability for the position, and to contact you.

Type of Data Collection

As a personnel service provider with a variety of different positions and customer requirements, it is necessary to collect applicant data in an applicant management system to organize applications. This applicant management system is operated by AMS on its own internal servers, maintained and secured by its own IT specialists, and has no connection to the internet or unauthorized third parties.

Type of Collected Data

The data we collect include your name, address, contact details such as telephone number and email address, information about your educational and professional background, salary expectations, cover letter, resume, certificates, and application photo.

Data Access

Your application data and files are only viewed by employees involved in the personnel selection process at AMS and are used exclusively for personnel selection purposes. Authorized personnel include recruiters, HR department staff, and individuals from the relevant departments involved in the personnel selection process, such as project managers and line managers.

Data Disclosure

For a possible deployment in a customer project or for potential assignment or placement with a client company, it may be necessary during the application process to transmit your application documents and data to the client company for review and evaluation.

Such transmissions are either anonymized so that your identity cannot be determined or non-anonymized only with your express consent for each individual transmission disclosed to you in advance.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your data provided to us will be deleted as soon as they are no longer required for the purpose of their collection.

If you have applied for a specific position at AMS during an ongoing applicant selection process, we store the data collected for this job posting until the expiration of the statutory complaint periods (in particular, § 15 AGG).

In all other cases, you have the right to request the deletion of your data provided to us at any time. AMS will comply with the deletion request within the legal deadlines, provided there are no legal reasons, such as a retention obligation, preventing it.

Data Security and Data Integrity

To protect your data from loss or damage and to ensure the accuracy and security of your personal data, and to prevent unauthorized access or improper use, we implement various security measures such as firewalls and manual security checks.
