AMS Advanced Medical Services GmbH was founded by Dr. Christian Carls in 1997 in Mannheim as an owner-managed and bank-independent service provider for the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry.
Over the last 25 years, AMS has established itself nationally and internationally as a service provider in the fields of Clinical Research, Medical Science and Marketing & Sales.
Based on honesty, integrity and trust, AMS stands for open communication and proactive cooperation.

Team company
AMS has been a competent partner of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry in the business areas Clinical Research, Medical Science, Marketing & Sales as well as Training / 1st Internet Pharma School (1. IPS) since 1997.
As an experienced CRO (Contract Research Organization), AMS offers a comprehensive range of services in clinical research for Phase I-IV clinical trials as well as for non-interventional studies (NIS). The service portfolio includes project management, clinical monitoring, data acquisition and data management, biometrics, pharmacovigilance / drug safety and medical writing and includes quality assurance and the performance of audits as well as support in the area of regulatory affairs and product approval.
Medical Science is an interdisciplinary team from the fields of medical writing, biostatistics, health economics, public health, and project management.
Our team is supported by medical experts with over 15 years of experience
in global clinical development. As pioneers, we have been successfully active in the field of benefit dossiers since the AMNOG (German Act on the Reorganization of the Pharmaceutical Market) came into force in 2011.
Our clients include leading international pharmaceutical companies as well as companies from the biotech sector. Due to our extensive experience in the field of pharmaceuticals, we are also a strong European partner in the field of Health Technology Assessments (HTAs), Rapid Relative Effectiveness Assessments (rapid REAs) and in the field of benefit assessment of new examination and treatment methods with medical devices in Germany. Our clients benefit from our experience as a competent and reliable partner for projects in the product life cycle of your drug or medical device.
Marketing & Sales offers a comprehensive range of customizable services, from profile-differentiated recruitment and employee leasing of leasing sales representatives (pharmaceutical consultants, pharmaceutical sales representatives, specialist sales representatives, clinic consultants, key account managers (KAM); pharmacy sales representatives and medical device consultants to the provision of complete leasing sales services in strategic partnership as a CSO (Contract Sales Organization), which are consistently oriented to the needs and requirements of our clients.
In the area of training, the spectrum of our services is also broad. It ranges from online training to face-to-face seminars and on-the-job coaching.
Since 2001, our 1st Internet Pharma School has been proven and is extremely successful in the supervised online training of certified pharmaceutical sales representatives as well as in the implementation of product training and sales force training.
