Would you like to obtain the IHK qualification?

If you wish to take the examination at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) and thus complete further training to become a certified pharmaceutical sales representative, you will require authorization to take the IHK examination, which can only be granted by the relevant IHK.
However, as you can also take the self-study course without the aim of further training with an IHK examination, the existence or attainability of an authorisation for the IHK examination is not a prerequisite for participation in this cost-effective course. As a precautionary measure, however, we would like to point out that for the “1. IPS self-study course for pharmaceutical sales representatives”, every participant who would like to take the IHK examination as part of a self-study course should apply for admission to the examining IHK in good time, as this is not always granted because certain professional requirements must be met.

Optional knowledge test

Just like the supervised online preparation course for the IHK examination “Certified Pharmaceutical Sales Representative”, the self-study course “Pharmaceutical Sales Representative Knowledge” also offers the opportunity to test and apply the knowledge already acquired during the learning process. The knowledge checks in this self-study course are purely optional and also serve to practise and consolidate the learning material. They also show you how detailed you need to learn and master the material in order to be able to answer questions from the Chamber of Industry and Commerce later on.

As the self-study course Pharmaceutical Sales Representative Knowledge does not include performance and attendance checks, funding under the Upgrading Training Assistance Act (“Aufstiegs-BaföG”) and employment promotion according to AZAV (“education vouchers” with cost absorption by the job centre or employment agency) is not possible here.
